Students are expected to come to class regularly and on time. If, for some reason, you wish to withdraw from a class, written notification is required. Please notify the office in advance when a student must miss a lesson due to illness, vacation or other compelling reason.

For students participating in our annual end-of-school year showcases, attendance requirements as the showcase gets closer is especially critical. Due to the cumulative nature of the rehearsal process, unplanned absences may make it impossible for a student to participate without incurring the time and expense of private lessons.

Additionally, the loss of any member in a piece often requires that the Choreographer restructure movement and has a domino effect on other's in the piece. In order to have time enough to make such adjustments, teachers must have the flexibility to decide on a case-by-case basis whether significant absences warrant removing a student from the showcase in order to be fair to other performers.
