About Spotlight Theatre Academy
Spotlight Theatre Academy - Revealing the Artist Within!
Founded by Spotlight’s Tim and Jen Barden and Bill Reed (creator of the Musical Theater program at New York’s Circle in the Square Theater School), The Spotlight Theatre Academy (STA) at Spotlight Vermont in South Burlington is an integrated program of study and performance in voice, acting, dance, theater and media arts for middle, high school and adult students.
We believe every student is unique. It is our job to endow them with the skills, technique, confidence, and resources to launch their creativity into flight. Our Specialized program fosters the development of the individual artist as an ensemble, soloist, and vibrant member of the community and culture. Students will immerse themselves weekly in voice, drama, and dance classes taught by experienced professionals.
Each semester will culminate in a performance, showcasing each student’s talents, progress and unique voice.
