Preschool Recital:

We learned during Covid, that our youngest dancers feel the most comfortable performing in our Black Box theatre. It is a more intimate and personal experience. Each class individually performs for their families and friends, and the performance for each class lasts about 20 minutes. The recitals usually take place in the beginning of June.

Kids/Teen/Adult Recital:

These recitals are usually held at a local high school at the beginning of June. We usually have 3- 4 shows so that we can accommodate all of our students and their families. The kid’s shows are held in the afternoon ,and last a little over an hour. Our older kids, teen and adult show is held in the early evening and lasts a little over 2 hrs.

Costumes:

All of our dancers will be required to purchase a costume for each style of dance they participate in. We get our costumes from a variety of places. In the past, we have used a local woman Laurie Browne (who has worked with me for over 20 years), dance costume companies, and even Amazon. The dancers will all be measured in Nov. and Dec. so that we can make sure the costumes will be here in time for our June recitals.

Costume Deposits and Balance:

The prices of costumes vary from year to year. Everything these days costs more, and dance costumes are no exception. If your instructor decides to order locally, or through a dance costume catalog, there will be a costume deposit ( per class) of $40.00 due in Jan., and the balance for the costumes will be due in March. If your instructor decides to order costumes on Amazon, you will be responsible for ordering the costumes.

Tickets for Recitals:

All tickets for our recitals will be purchased using an online ticket company.

Payments:

All tuition and costume payments must be paid in full before the recitals.

Refunds:

There are no refunds for costumes or recital tickets.
